A downloadable game

COMING SOON? More description that's for sure. Okay. Take a breath.

UPDATE!!! Hello. Yeah. It's me. The Update! Oh what's up? Well,  my cat died on my birthday this year. Then I started writing a bunch of fucked up weird python scripts that automated cool shit I like to do. You should check that shit out too but we're here. Then I went on several vacations from reality.

So this book immediately found me and carried me through the loss of my beloved pet while pretty fucking stoned  and saying horrible things about code to ChatGPT and bouncing it off Gemini and having Claude eventually refine into  this ASCII animated game that simulates the conditions described in the novel. KCKS is  the story of a centuries old cat who just also happens to own a space station laden down with heavy weapons platforms.
And it's now and it is time for my unauthorized K. C. Kill Sat Windows Terminal terminal program. I don't care if you think it sucks because I used AI. I enjoyed making this weird vibe coded antfarm and the space weapon game by screaming obscenities at a computer.  It uses a shitty windows-only python library for sound so if you're on Apple or Linux or some shit like that. Because I wanted to replicate the old PC speaker modulation sound effects. Sorry. My bad. Oh well. This game was a product of me think about the TRS-80 Radio Shack cassette program of the game Flying Saucers. That game had a sort of central gun space invaders ASCII style to it and I still am thrilled by  the assembly language driven asterisk explosion routines when your bullet hits the UFOs.

But with a Kill Cat Kill Sat. And the Purple Haze.

I highly recommend reading the novel. I loved it.

My apologies to the author. Please enjoy your subscription to Cat Facts.🐱
